SAN DIEGO MINI REUNION
APRIL 2, 2005

Well, another mini reunion has come and gone and its was a terrific time for all.

Once again we all met at the Sizzler Restaurant in San Diego…..they have a good sized back room that they allow us to use and for several years now we have had the same great waitress by the name of Connie. She takes awesome care of our group and sees that everyone has all that they need and want.

This year we had 32 people attend and that included 14 shipmates. Robby and his friend John came down from Twain, CA. and then we had people from Bakersfield, CA., Pasadena, CA., and from Las Vegas, NV.

Those attending this year were "Robby" Robbins, John Scherck, Bob Bahler, Harris and Betty Lou Swett, Captain Jack O'Neill, Solomon and Frances Honeycutt, Otis Patterson, Vernon Marion, Joseph Keeley, Leo and Eleanor Senn, Al Cohen and Faith Sand, Ted Hansen, Bob and Jeri Canfield, Howard and Alberta Ricker, Larry, Linda, and Caitlyn Larson, Lorene Buwalda, Riley and Clara Akers, Sandra and Alex Jones and Bill and Sue Birdsong.

It was a great day with "sea stories" abundant and friendship throughout.
