Honorary Member &

James "Robby" Robbins

Robby went aboard the USS Floyd B. Parks (1949-54) after boot camp in 1949. He then was assigned to the USS Toledo for about one year as a BM2 in 1954. He was assigned Shore Duty at Treasure Island in San Francisco until his discharge in 1957.

He then joined the Air Force and then retired in November of 1968.

Robby is the founder of the USS Floyd B. Parks Association. In the 80's, he saw other ships having reunions and decided it was time to start having reunions for crewmembers of the Parks.

Since 1993, there have been eleven reunions and several mini-reunions for the friends, family and crewmembers of the Parks.

His efforts and accomplishments are highly appreciated by all. A hardy Bravo Zulu to you.
